Trip to Spain

Last year around March 2007, I was sent by my company to attend meeting in Madrid.  I was given a freedom to choose the hotel that I want to stay as long as it is not over budget. I was looking for Madrid Hotels online.  The idea is not to far from the city area because I know that I can only tour around after office hours. In easytobook.com, I found many discount hotels that is under the budget of my company. I could even get a 5 star hotel using the discount. Finally I decided to book the hotel near Plaza Mayor because it has tons of cafes and establishment that I could wonder around at night.

Planning ahead, I was thinking to go over to Barcelona or Toledo.  Both places seemed interesting! I was browsing as well for Barcelona hotels. As the second largest city in Spain, it offered variety of beautiful places to visit and competitive prices of hotels. I was about to book a hotel near Plaça Reial.  Too bad that I received another email that I would still have a meeting even on Saturday morning.  Thinking that 2 day 1 night trip to Barcelona would not make the most of it, I finally decided to spend the weekend in Toledo.

Located at the south of Spain, Toledo offers many breath taking natural landscape.  I made sure that I book a Toledo hotels near with good view.  Finally, all accommodation were booked.  I was a great trip I made to Spain. The meeting was stressful but I enjoyed the time I spent after office hours. In the end, what is better to have than having a short vacations paid by the company.
