Startup Jobs - work for equity?

Continuing my blogpost about finding job vacancies online, I took a look at this site Startup Job. What make the site unique as compared to other online job portals is that the startup business employer could find talents who are looking for 1.) work for equity 2.) want startup jobs or 3.) have startup experience.

Membership feature allows job seeker to apply the required jobs easy. With a single click, all info about the job seeker will be sent to the potential startup employers. The same goes with the employer that would like to find talents for Startup Jobs, they could see the general profiles of the job seeker members can contract them directly for further negotiations.

The site is part of Go BIG Network that is trying to connect the startup companies, investors, job seekers, advisors, etc to help each other. The community is specific in nature to easily connect those entities to build the startup companies. I have seen a lot of social networking sites. But this social networking site is interesting because contacts can be shared to find request of jobs. Joining to the site is free.

Why they need network anyway? Well, there are different views to see it. For startup business owners, it could be the best place to find investors. Many people has extra money that they do not know that to do. With proper business proposal, they could get investors. They could get advises from with similar problems experienced by other members. Also, to offer the services to other members.
